The Courtyard
Roughly the side of four football fields, the Courtyard is a long, enclosed track of land in the heart of the campus. All other buildings surround the courtyard - there is no way out of the courtyard except by going through a building. Most school-sponsored events take place here. In the past, the campus courtyard was used as a meeting spot to organize pro-interspecial actions, so there are plenty of places to hide that have yet to be discovered. While most species intermingle freely, the courtyard has small artificially-created bio mes to accommodate almost every species comfortably, with the exception of sea creatures. Nocturnal and tunneling animals instinctively know how to get to the Tunnel network from any location in the Courtyard.
